The International Technology Fair and Exhibition iTECH EXPO 2025 officially opened this morning, July 9, 2025. Under the theme “NEW TECH EMPOWER iFUTURE,” the event highlights the development of an innovative, application-driven technology ecosystem that fosters collaboration and trade while supporting government and businesses in the digital era.

Building on the success of 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA), VIETBUILD International Construction Exhibition Organization, and Alta Media, together with strategic partners, are co-organizing iTECH EXPO 2025. The event takes place from July 9 to 11, 2025, at the SKY EXPO Vietnam International Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

From the opening session, the event attracted a strong turnout of visitors. In his opening remarks, Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association and Head of the Organizing Committee, stated that iTECH EXPO 2025 marks a significant milestone in building a comprehensive ecosystem where technology is effectively applied to solve real-world challenges. Aligned with the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW by the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation, HCA continues to take a pioneering role in supporting businesses and local authorities in their digital transformation journey. The event also creates a platform for startups and enhances trade activities amid a dynamic market environment. iTECH EXPO 2025 serves as a key meeting point connecting solution providers, technology adopters, and government agencies to jointly shape a sustainable digital future—not only for Vietnam but for the broader region.

Spanning nearly 4,000 square meters, iTECH EXPO 2025 brings together more than 120 reputable technology enterprises from Vietnam and around the world. The exhibition features core technologies such as AI, IoT, and Big Data; highly interactive technologies including drones, robotics, and Holobox; as well as specialized solutions in EdTech, AgriTech, FinTech, and Cybersecurity, alongside a dedicated startup zone.

A key breakthrough of iTECH EXPO 2025 lies not only in its exhibition scale but also in tools designed to unlock maximum trade potential. Notably, the debut of a digital trade management platform enables enterprises to proactively connect and optimize partnership opportunities directly at the event. In parallel, a technology product marketplace featuring exclusive promotions and a seamless cashless payment system further accelerates commercial engagement.

Beyond exhibition and trading activities, iTECH EXPO 2025 hosts seven thematic seminar sessions introducing new technology solutions, featuring over 50 experts and speakers from global technology corporations such as Dell Technologies, Amazon Web Services (AWS), NVIDIA, Acer, Intel, and Logitech, alongside leading Vietnamese enterprises including Viettel, VNPT, CMC Telecom, and DigiEx.

A distinctive highlight of the seminar series is the leadership role of government agencies, including the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, Department of Tourism, the Southern Education and Training Development Center, the High-Tech Agricultural Park Management Board, and Quang Trung Software Park (QTSC), in collaboration with industry associations. This reflects a strong commitment to innovation and a readiness to collaborate in addressing practical challenges across key sectors, with topics such as enterprise productivity optimization; improving management, admissions, and training quality in education; sustainable agriculture and tourism development; infrastructure development; and cybersecurity.

A dedicated area is arranged for digital transformation consulting for ward- and commune-level authorities.

Led by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, the digital transformation consulting program for local governments stands out as a timely highlight. The organizing committee has established a dedicated zone to provide consultations for 168 wards and communes across the city, as well as for neighboring localities seeking to explore e-government development and gain practical insights into digital transformation implementation for citizens and businesses.

Sharing the significance of this initiative, Lam Dinh Thang, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, stated: “In the city’s current context, the application of digital technology in governance is essential to enhance operational efficiency. Therefore, the Department of Science and Technology is partnering with iTECH EXPO 2025 to deliver this in-depth consulting program, equipping grassroots leaders with the most suitable tools and technology solutions tailored to real-world needs. Here, leaders of wards and communes will engage in one-on-one sessions with 10 leading technology enterprises in the city, gaining access to more than 50 digital transformation solution packages. These solutions focus on five key areas: public administration and population management; local economy; infrastructure, urban development, and environment; culture, education, and healthcare; and agriculture and rural development.”
