iTech Expo 2025 aims to build a comprehensive technology ecosystem where solutions are directly applied to address real-world societal challenges.
On the morning of July 9, at the SKY EXPO Vietnam International Convention and Exhibition Center (Quang Trung Software Park, Ho Chi Minh City), the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA), in collaboration with its partners, officially opened the International Technology Exhibition iTech Expo 2025.
The three-day event, held from July 9–11, 2025, carries the theme “New Tech Empower iFuture”, fostering an innovative, application-driven technology ecosystem. It creates opportunities for collaboration and trade while supporting government agencies and businesses in the digital era.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Chairman of HCA and Head of the Organizing Committee, shared:
“Building on the success of the inaugural edition, iTech Expo 2025 marks a new milestone in developing a comprehensive ecosystem where technology is truly applied to solve societal challenges.
Aligned with the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW issued by the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, HCA continues to pioneer alongside businesses and local authorities. The event creates a platform for startups and strengthens trade activities amid a volatile market landscape.

"We believe iTech Expo 2025 will serve as a key meeting point connecting solution providers, application-driven enterprises, and government agencies to shape a sustainable digital future—not only for Vietnam but also for the broader region.”
Representing the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, Mr. Lam Dinh Thang, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, emphasized that as the city implements Resolution 57-NQ/TW, science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation are becoming increasingly critical in enhancing competitiveness, driving socio-economic development, and building a sustainable future.
The second edition of iTech Expo stands as a vivid testament to the city’s pioneering spirit, connectivity, and innovation. The event not only launches a series of upcoming activities but also signals strong collaboration among stakeholders: government, businesses, experts, and the innovation community.

He also outlined key expectations for the event:
- First, the city expects iTech Expo 2025 to go beyond showcasing advanced technologies, serving as a forum for knowledge sharing, experience exchange, and discussions on emerging trends—especially foundational technologies such as AI, big data, automation, and green technology.
- Second, the event is expected to attract international technology enterprises and investment to Ho Chi Minh City, reinforcing its position as a leading innovation and technology hub in Southeast Asia.
- Third, the city prioritizes comprehensive digital transformation across all socio-economic sectors, with a highlight on consulting programs for ward- and commune-level governments.
Digital Trade Platform and Exclusive Technology Marketplace
With a scale of nearly 4,000 m², iTech Expo 2025 brings together more than 120 reputable domestic and international technology enterprises. The exhibition showcases core technologies such as AI, IoT, and big data; high-interaction technologies including drones, robots, and Holobox (a 3D holographic display device); as well as specialized solutions in EdTech, AgriTech, Fintech, cybersecurity, and a dedicated startup zone.
A key breakthrough lies not only in the exhibition scale but also in tools designed to maximize trade potential. For the first time, iTech Expo 2025 introduces a digital platform for trade management, enabling businesses to proactively connect and optimize partnership opportunities during the event.
In parallel, a technology product marketplace featuring exclusive promotional policies and a seamless cashless payment system is expected to significantly stimulate transactions and market demand.

The event is projected to attract over 5,000 visitors and generate more than 1,000 business connections, with participation from nearly 10 countries and territories, including Russia, South Korea, China, Taiwan (ROC), the United Kingdom, Israel, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Laos.
Seven Specialized Conferences Creating Distinct Technology Touchpoints
iTech Expo 2025 features seven thematic conferences introducing new technology solutions, with over 50 experts and speakers from global technology corporations such as Dell Technologies, Amazon Web Services (AWS), NVIDIA, Acer, Intel, Logitech, alongside leading Vietnamese enterprises including Viettel, VNPT, CMC Telecom, and DigiEx.
A defining element of the conference series is the leadership of government agencies such as the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Tourism, the Southern Education Development Center, the High-Tech Agricultural Park Management Board, and QTSC, in collaboration with industry associations. This reflects a strong commitment to innovation and readiness to jointly address practical challenges across key sectors.
Key topics include optimizing business productivity; enhancing education management, enrollment, and training quality; developing sustainable agriculture and tourism; and strengthening infrastructure and cybersecurity.
Digital Transformation Consulting for 168 Wards and Communes
Led by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, the digital transformation consulting program for local governments stands out as a timely highlight. A dedicated area will provide consultation for 168 wards and communes, as well as other localities interested in building e-government systems and implementing digital transformation to better serve citizens and businesses.
Mr. Lam Dinh Thang stated:
“In the city’s evolving context, applying digital technology in governance is essential to improving operational efficiency. Therefore, the Department of Science and Technology partners with iTech Expo 2025 to organize this in-depth consulting program, equipping local leaders with the most suitable tools and solutions for real-world needs.”
At the event, local leaders will engage in one-on-one sessions with 10 leading technology enterprises, gaining access to more than 50 digital transformation solutions across five key areas:
- Public administration and population management
- Local economy
- Infrastructure, urban development, and environment
- Culture, education, and healthcare
- Agriculture and rural development
“Our goal goes beyond addressing immediate needs. We aim to collaboratively build a synchronized, modern digital governance foundation from the grassroots level, contributing sustainably to the city’s long-term development,” Mr. Thang emphasized.
